Yeah totally depends, some people consider a long block a whole motor (head, block, alternator, intake manifold, all the crap thats bolted to it etc) and others its just block and head...

Ask before you buy

 

Yeah, 90% of the time 'long block' is literally JUST a block and a head.

However, I was looking at HMO, and his long blocks seem to include everything but the transmission and axles/mounts.

-block, head
-Intake manifold, exhaust manifold
-injectors, fuel rail, throttle body
-alternator and distributor

and in the pictures it looks like it's still got the complete wiring harness on it

 

Either way it doent include a tranny. So if it includes more than the block and the head sweet.
