hey guys, I just got done installing my new aebs intake mani. All wires, sensors, vacuum lines, coolant lines, and bolts were all good. (we have done a blox intake manifold on my friends turbo ls) So everything looks good, we put new antifreeze and start the car. We get all the air out of the anti freeze lines and its all fine. Now actually trying to drive the car is where it all went wrong. The car will only drive in a gear if its under 1500 rpms. If you try to rev past 3000 rpm it bogs out but keeps running. NO check engine or anything...What do you think could be the problem?
when we first tried to start the car it wouldn't even kick over for 2 seconds, then I switched the map and iat vavle plugs and she started. But thats when the bogging started.
If it helps, running a j's intake, aem fuel rail and regulator (fuel psi is at 55), stock throttle body, new oem gaskets. there are no missing lines when we double checked it. Everything is pluged in, and every wire is connected.

amke sure you put the little black vacuum box that is under the gsr snail manifold it plugged up, sounds like a problem with your ecu, maybe it is running too lean because of the higher ammount of air coming into the motor

yea I have been reading other post about intake mani probs, they say the black box is supposed to stay with the other manifold.
try checking your ground...
I had a similar problem where you would be going and it would almost seem like a rev limiter...
Just go back and make sure all your wires are tight..
Hope this helps
