removal of part of the dash

Default removal of part of the dash

right, i have completly removed a dash from another civic, and the part pictured below is slightly damaged, i want to know how to remove it, as im gonna spray it/ get some film and put over it does anyone know how to do this?? its the part that holds the heater,cd player and also all of the fog light switches, rear heater, sunroof, eletric mirrors etc.

doesnt look damaged to me either, BUT.....

you have to pull the whole dash to get to the back side of it, and once you do that, i believe its plastic welded in place. so you'd have to break the holding points, and then plastic weld it back on.

its not on the dash in the picture, its on another dash that i have taken out of another civic, it was just easier to take a pic of the dash in my car, so it just unscrews, and its on the right side of the car as there produced in japan and they drive on the right side of the road
