Default Can I remove this?

I was cleaning up my dash a bit and I was wondering if I can remove this support pieces. Do they travel all the way up through the dash? Without them will the dash not stand properly or will there be any safety issues? These are the supports I am speaking of...

your stuck with it, unless you take a cutting wheel to it...but why..l think that brace holds the stereo inplace and helps the dash brace bar in support/rigidness

You'll be fine if you do decide to take it out. At one point I only had 2 bolts holding in my dash and it was sturdy as hell. If you have your upper center mount and side ones, you'll be fine. Everyone else is just guessing.

Ha that picture brings back memorys. I tried to take that out 1 time to remove my carpet and when i went to take off the 2 bottom bolts and it just snaped. So i was like **** that and just cut the carpet lol. So if you do decide to take it out have fun just make sure you dont snap the bolts lol
best luck

Go ahead and remove it if you want and 1 week of the weird creeks and odd noises from your dash will drive you crazy

Have fun when you get in a wreck and the dashboard is smashed into your thighs. When you're in your wheelchair looking like Lt. Dan, you'll probably say to yourself: "I'm like this because I was worried about a piece of plastic in 10k car???" Then you'll probably shoot yourself in the head.
