clear coat question

wats up guys.. i've searched and didnt find anything to help me.. i stripped my sprint hart cpfgs so they are bare metal right now.. i like the look and was wondering wat kind of clear coat i could use on them.. and is it true that if i leave them uncoated that they will rust?? if it doesnt i still wanna clear them.. thanks

the the clear coatas for the wheels at the autoparts store... yes, if you leave them bare like that... sooner or later they will rust from oxidation or water on it.

so i could buy the clear coat in the cans.. the ones that duplicolor makes for wheels?? or are there better one??
