? Removing Clear Coat From Alloy Wheels ?
I am in the process of restoring the shiny look of my Momo wheels. I need to remove the clear coat to get down to the metal for polishing. The wheels have no major scars or pitting, just some ugly clear coat.
The question is: What is the best/easiest way to get the clear coat off of the alloy wheels? I have seen suggestions to carefully sand the clear coat away, but that is a labor intensive solution. Is there a product (solvent/paint remover/etc) that can be purchased to get this stuff off? Or is this a job for a dipper?

Aircraft stripper will do the job. Look at the stickies.

Aircraft Stripper works wonders, and that is what everyone will recommend you to use.
