Default Driver AXLE question/problem

Ok first off YES I'VE SEARCHED , so i just got this axle on ebay that is suposed to be off a 91 integra. I tried to put it on and it was not going in at all. I removed the dust seal and hub ring to see if it help. So now it went in but it is way long, i can't even put suspension back on or do nothing. Does it sounds like i got the wrong one? 91 axle 5speed should be fit for sure right? are 90 - 93 all the same?? any help would be great,

I don't know which intermediate shaft i have it came with the b16A when i got it. I did have a driver axle with it and was just fine. I gave the axle to my brother who is now using it on his 90 integra. So i figured all i need is 90 91 integra.

yes it is all the way in and still no luck. the only thing i can think of right now is that it's a wrong axle. i plan to pull the axle off my brother's 90 integra and compare axles. what else could i do?

You might have the wrong intermediate shaft..You need a 90-93 integra intermediate shaft to use a 90-93 axle..You might have the jdm b16a intermediate shaft..But before you get that make sure you have the right axle and comapre them like you said..

Ok so i compared his axles and the axle i got off ebay for my driver side is in fact longer than the driver axle on my brother's 90 integra. And also ive been noticing that axles have markings on them. Like two green bars and one white bar. Now is two green bars mean passenger and one white bar driver? because my ebay axle has the same marking than his passenger. Meaning it could be a passenger side as well , im just wondering.

theonly diference in the axles should be one inner should have splines all the way to the collar and the other one should not there the same length...
