Default Just a little bit of Winter Cleaning

As you guys dont know i bout a R shell back in April and have been workin on it here and there and the other day got the engine bay ready for the Motor
I wanted to keep the itr master cylinder so i changed the prop valve and all the ABS Bullshit

THIS WHAT IT USED LOOK LIKE

AND THIS IS NOW


NEXT IS THE 4X114 SETUP WIT MY RARE *** SSR"S

when is the motor going in?

not really feeling those rims, i think you can do better.

I also have a set of the 96 itr wheels

im taking the head to the machine shop to get the cam caps fixed then it will be ready so about a month or two

99 C5 block/b16 head
one layer head gasket
skunk 2 stge 2 cams
crower valvetrain
act clutch/ lightened flywheel
b16 tranny(soon to be itr)

I dont care how rare those are even if there the only set ever mad... those are the fugliest rims i have ever seen.

Why do people insist on buying RARE rims that are ugly like that just because there rare. who cares.

Engine bay looks real good. I am nuetral on the rims, but it isn't my decision so what does it matter? Best of luck with the build, keep us posted.

I know that Skunk2 Valvetrain isn't compatible with Crower Cams....I'd be skeptical about running vice versa...

i had the setup running before i went boosted and it ran fine, never had an issue. Never heard of that setup not working, if ne body has had issues let me know

looks good my buddy just eliminated his abs also and it made a lot of room in the bay. good luck on the build

all in good time, the rims will look much better on the car. The best part about it is they are 15x7 and hove caps over the lug pattern so u can't tell what lug pattern it is(although it is 4x114). I love it although in my opinion I think the 96 spec itr wheels u have will look better if u have the wing. If u go without the ssr's will own...lol.
