Well, I thought I had my gasket for my T4, but I was just surfing HT and noticed that there is a divided tang gasket?? like in this picture?



Has anyone used a non divided tang gasket on a divided? Will it affect anything? It just seems to me if there isn't gasket material there, it'll act like a blow torch and mess up the divider....

Any opinions or leads on where to get the "proper" gasket?

The inlet flange gasket? Everyone I know runs the turbo inlet gasket. Only one we don't run a gasket on is the exhaust dischage (5 bolt downpipe/4 bolt downpipe) flanges......
