what to do b16a/b16b build
Ok so I'm getting a b16b head with a b16a bottem end. The head has port n polish, ported intake man. and bored TB + stock ctr cams and valvtrain. the bottom end has ctr 81.25mm pistons, new rod and main bearings + arp rod bolts! B16B trany with LSD, ats 3-4-5 gears, toda flywheel Bully 4 puck stage 3 clutch, BnM short trow and oil cooler. aem fuel rail fule pressure regulator and gauge, 450cc injectors, Spoon headers and a custom borla 2 1/2" cat back!!! This engine on a new mustang dyni made 187 whp and 115 ft-lbs of torque!!!
How can I inprove this engine while keeping it realiable???

some work was already doneon the combustion chamber and the head was miled a bit= the comp is 11.8:1....I don't want it higher but cams is what I was thinking!!! What cams would be good if I want to use the above comp. and want to keep a streetable idle!!!
Stoker kit?
Stoker kit?
This engine was build to race in Canada's Hankook touring...The guy who sold this setup to me has the b16b crank and rods + the crank has been knifed edge by a machine shop!!!

Cams and tuning -- I didnt see what EMS you were planning on using or having it tuned with
The CTR pistons with B16a bottom already yield some high comp ---clay the motor if you go with a wild cam ---- with the head milled and using domed pistons I would be wary of piston to valve contact with an agressive cam
Short of building a new bottom end you could probably switch to ITB's, get a better header and upgrade the valvetrain
I would keep the B16 bottom and avoid a stroker or buy a bare C1 block and start from there if you decide to go forged --- B16b rods are rare from what I have seen so using that combo would be the harder route
I'm sure others will chime in

Thanks for all the imput guys!!! As for EMS I'm running a AEM. You think I can get better headers then the spoon??? This engine is coming out of it's race car ( hankook touring in Canada) this weekend and the guy is not sure if the spoon collector is 2 1/2" or 2 1/4"? This engine was raced twice and the guy is getting it check but the best machine shop arround...I forgot to mention that the bottom end is balanced + new main and rod bearings + new arp rod bolts + I will be getting new oem gaskets + new itr valve springs and retaines and valve seals + the head will be resurfaced if it needs it!
ITB's???
Has for cams and new valvetrain I'm up to the challenge but I have had some expensive dyno time do to stage 3 cams in an other build...I need a relatively stock idle but good power gains vs the current CTR's???
