ok so i have never removed an axle before....can someone help me out with what i need to do.... i have no idea

o ya the boot is ripped so the axle is kinda sitting out side of the tranny side

 

o ya and i searched this topic but couldnt find anything useful

Once the wheels are off, you start on the wheel side of the axle. just take the castle nut off of the lower ball joint and using a pry bar or a ball joint seperator (autozone 15 bucks rental) pop the ball joint loose so that the hub can swing forward. At that point you can take the axle out on the wheel side.

Next, use a pry bar at the transmission side of the axle to pry it loose and then pull it out with your super manly strength. lather rinse repeat for other side.

Dont forget to take the axle nut off.
