Check Code Reset?
My car was throwing code 14 (IAC), and ran like ****. I replaced the IAC, it ran better, but still throwing code 14. I put in an ecu that had been unplugged overnight (stock p05) figuring it would have reset already (?). When I started the car again, it threw the CEL, again, code 14 still. Anyone have any idea?
maybe it was a bad IAC. if not try unpluging the negative battery for like 10 min. than plug it back in. worked for me. my problem was the map sensor. kept throwing the code. negative battery method worked. good luck.

I actually read the CEL code wrong the first time, didnt realize the long light was a long light, so instead of me reading 14, i read 5 (map sensor). I replaced the map sensor, then check the CEL again and realized it was 14. Then I replaced the IAC, still got the CEL. Does it really matter if its the negative or positive terminal? I unplugged the positive for and hour and still got CEL.
