97 Accord EX. I'm leaving for detroit tomorrow morning (I live in the middle of georgia), and now one MORE thing goes wrong! My driver's side window is stuck about 1 inch down. it appears that the cable is frayed and bunched up at the top, and my window won't go up any further. it won't really go down either, but I haven't REALLY checked since I want to keep it closed--not more open.

I don't need my window to work right now, I just need it to be fully closed.
Any help would be MUCH appreciated, especially if it's quick!

 

Grab it from the inside and outside and push up... hard. If you cut the cable the window will go up but it will also come down much easier unless you use some West Virginia chrome (duct tape) Then when you get home replace the window regulator.
