Default Need help in next stage. Brakes.

Well, I have most of my suspension/tires done and now I am researching brakes. Been doing alot of reading, and I have settled (so far atleast) with autozone/pep boys/etc rotors, either axis metal masters or EBC Green stuff or Cobalt friction pads, brake fluid, stainless lines, speedbleeders and that should be that. The car is going to have to confirm to STS rules, so no legend/nsx brake upgrades here.

My question is, I want to see what experience with various setups across the board. For now, since auto-x is officially over until next year, I dont need to go too agressive on pads and need to get something with pretty damn good cold bit, and easy on brake dust. I also have no idea on what type of fluid I should run either as well as having a hard time choosing proper pads.

So, what do some guys recommend (based on experience is more warranted) or have been running and with what results??

Thanks.

P.S I researched that brembo blanks are made of a weaker type metal and dont last as long and cross drilled/slotted tend to crack and are more about looks (which, for me, function over form prevails almost everytime).

This forum is for wheels and tires. Not brakes.
