Default Spacers & OEM Wheels - 2000 Civic coupe...

Here's the gist of things. I don't have any pictures for referential purposes, so I'll use found pictures of other 99-00 Civic coupes.

I'm looking to get spacers for the front and rear. They will go on Si wheels, to push them out closer to the fender edge - as I do not like the gap between the edge of the fender and the outer edge of the wheel (see pictures for referential purposes).

Now, my coupe is dropped on Tein SS coilover, tucked by about a finger in the front, and a 1.5 finger gap in the rear.

Is it a good idea to space out the wheels or not?

If so, what size spacers should I get for the front? What size spacers should I get for the rear?

Who makes good spacers? And where can they be purchased?

Pictures for reference:

-Coupes with stock wheels with the "gap" I'm talking about:

-Coupes with aftermarket wheels, with no "gap" - what I'm looking to accomplish with the spacers:

the reason why it is not flush is because of your negative camber... just get a camber kit and then be done(camber kit will puch the top out more)

I really do not like using spacers because of possible safety issues, but if you really want them do not use universal ones. I'd probably go with Eibach spacers which are made for the vehicle. For a civic they have either a 5mm or 15mm. Your gonna have to measure the distance from the tire to the inside of your fender to see how much room you really do have. The part numbers for the eibach spacers are as follows:

5mm 90.5.05.005.1
15mm 90.6.15.010.1

Also what size wheels are you running, stock? If you go with a slighlty larger (wider)wheel and tire combo with proper alignment might also bring them out for you also.

A camber kit will go on in the rear. But the front, due to the possibility of impact cracks and factures to the shock towers, will only receive a proper allignment from time to time.

I wish to keep the OEM Si/SiR wheels. Do not want to go aftermarket - as nothing appeals to me right now.

Thanks for the opinions and suggestions.

Another reason is because of the width (6") and offset (45mm) of the stock wheel compared to the aftermarket wheels in the other pics posted
