Default Skunk2s and Tokico Illumina Question.

I have skunk2s on my DA with 160k stock struts, and its bouncier then 4 fat bitch's running after thanksgiving dinner. I found some new tokico illuminas for 370 shipped and I was wondering if I need to get an adapter ring or will the skunk2's fit out of the box?

the skunk2's will fit fine, just use whatever orings or spacers to cushion inside the sleeve. but its the stiff springs that skunk2 gives thats making your ride like ****. i wouldnt even use them on the illuminas.

I was hoping you would reply. I am probably not going to try to be competitive in any auto-xing. I just need a better ride then what I have right now, plus I can always get some ground controls or something down the road.

im not basing my advice on autox. my advice is expressly for street driving. the skunk2 springs are TOO STIFF.

getting a fresh set of shocks is going to help, but its still not going to give you a comfortable ride.

Sorry, I am just used to people jumping on eachother about the whole auto-x thing.
Have you ridden in a Integra equipped with this setup?

Haha I would love to take you out in my DA the way it is now. I am gonna get the tokicos and put my junk2's on. If the ride is still to much I will get some standard rate ground controls. BTW what is the standard integra rates on GC's.

gc gives something like 380/250.

skunks i think are like 450/333.

what you CAN do is just get some 250-300 spring and swap the rear 333 to the front, so its 333/250. you can find em for trade for like $60 a pair.
