no oil pressure
alright yesterday after work i went out to start my car since we were about to close and when i started it up i noticed the oil light stayed on. so i turned it off and decided to try and prime it since it was so cold outside. i primed and the same thing happened sp i pulled the oil feed line off the turbo to see if oil would come and i didn't get nothing there(i only had the car on for 2 secs max). the car ran perfectly fine before i came from school( about a 20 min ride on the highway) and i also went to work and it was fine.
now what i'm wondering is what would all of a sudden go bad when the car is off to cause the car not to have oil pressure. it can't be the oil pump cause the light never came on beofer i went to work, my oil pan is not dented and no bearing issues. the motor is a semi-built built boosted y8. i have a couple of ideas as to what i could be one of them is the pick-up might be clogged or since it was so cold the pick up tried to suck up the oil but the oil is thick(10w40) it might have destroyed the pickup tube gasket. i just wanna get some more ideas so when i go tear it apart so i can check over everything. btw i do not have an aftermarket underdrive pulley.
