If you don't want a shop to do it, try to PM '95lstegman' on here. It says he will install syncros for $330 (and up) in his sig, and I think some people in the Integra forum have had him rebuild their trannies. He is in FL, so you will have to ship it to him, but it shouldn't be too expensive.

Dirty Sol

https://honda-tech.com/zero...59575

builds trannys, and knows how to do it well

currently in the process of sending my tranny to him for my quaife install and carbon syncros.

He's built trannys for a few other h-t members as well.

Awesome guy to talk to about plans as well.

Unlike most members i deal with, I've actually met dan the ****'in man

awesome!!

I am finally getting recognition.....thanks Jason

I can rebuild your trans if you would like. I am able to purchase carbon coated blocking rings and I am able to seperately purchase shift collars and single parts if any are needed to be replaced. Powdercoating, media blasting, custom scatter shields, custom ratio setups, transmission stiffening, custom bearing setups......you name it I can do it or have a way to get it done.

I also have the cabability to black oxide gear sets and send parts off for chrome or nickel plating.

find somebody on h-t that's local. shipping is about $110 insured each way. and most people i've dealt with in the past don't send their transmission like something they value. i refuse to work on anything that comes to me that is not packaged in a way i approve of. i always recommend a particular way of packing them, but since i've had a few people not listen, i now tell people i will refuse shipment if it's in a cardboard box w/ stuffing or something. must be palatted or semi-crated.

on a lighter note, feel free to PM me. i'll give you my cell# by PM and we can talk about what you'd like done, what your goals are, and work from there.

wanna explain a little? i don't understand the nature of your question. i don't ship transmissions that belong to me unless they get sold to somebody, but i MUCH prefer not to ship. why should i lose $100+ off my sale price? people who buy w/ shipping are comparing against local w/o shipping, so it's hard to make the same profit when i have to ship it unless a specific service is wanted. i once shipped/sold one to a guy in Denmark, though .
