So I have the Y21 that came with my swap now, and I'm grinding 2nd. Its not unbearable, but its just something that annoys me. I guess the synchros are going bad. How much does it cost to rebuild a transmission and wheres a good place to get it done?

Wouldn't trust myself, and I just want a complete rebuild so the tranny will be fresh for the rest of the time I have the car. If it got to be anymore than like $400 I would just get a new transmission... damnit, I want an inexpensive tranny rebuild!!!

its expensive to rebuild, just get a new tranny and build your old one with ats synchro's that way you'll have a back up tranny

The only reason I'm bothering is because its the stock LSD transmission that I don't wantto lose. But I guess the general consensus is that its not worth it...
