can any one help me get my d16a6 started i did everything but the distributor wont trow spark

did u just do a MPFI swap or something?

just wondering because from my experience if the 2 white wires going to the dizzy in the plug are switched around then no spark

yah but it wont start i dunno much about wiring explaing what s the dizzy bro do u have aol aiM n can u explain me better

i gave it a tyr i think something there is wrong i have no idea what plus myecu is not on any idea y
do u have some pics cus there alot white wire i kept ramdomly changing em but nothing

sorry man....dizzy is slang for Distributor...if you had DPFI in there before(in your civic)..then you had a square distributor plug....when you depin all of the wires and put them in the new distributor plug(harness side) from the si(round plug) so it plugs up the the si distributor plug(distributor) side.....you matched all of the wires..however there are 2 white wires which look the same and can be easily swtiched around...I CHECKED EVERY SINGLE ENGINE WIRING WIRE before I had the smarts to switch the 2 white wires around...and then SPARK!!!..try it


also, you wont throw any codes if this is the case....what codes are on there now if any?
