Need wiring help with gsr swap in ef wagon
ok so i have a 89 ef wagon and i just put a b18c1 into it. i did the dpfi to mpfi swap and everything was done right. the problem that im having is that im not getting spark and im not sure why. ive tried 2 ecu's and 2 dizzy's just to make sure and all are known working parts but still no spark. ive tripple checked my wiring and everything is right and i cant figure out why im not getting spark. ive checked all fuses and anything else i could think of so if anyone else has any ideas please let me know. ive searched for hours as well so yes i did search before posting this. thanks

how are you running the gsr? obd0?
the mpfi, double check all the wires.
add 2 injector clips
all 4 red/black ground wires to resister
c1>b10
c2>b12
c1/c2 to engine
swap dx dizzy plug to Si
c1 is blue/green on dizzy
c2 is blue yellow on dizzy.
injector 2 >A3
injector 4 >A7
swap tps wires
i remember i did a mpfi awhile ago and i forgot the dizzy wires..once thats done it ran

Re: Need wiring help with gsr swap in ef wagon
yea i got all that done. im running everything obd0. i think i may have figured my problem though. i am using a jdm ef9 engine harness and i just read that the ignitor wire and some other wires in the harness are not pinned the same as on the dx harness? if anyone can verify that i would appreciate it. im gonna wire up the dual point harness tomarrow and hope that everything works. thanks for the help.

the Dx harness? no im sure they are different. use the DX harness and do the mpfi on there. i bet you the car will run.
it would plug and play it the car trim was an Si.
