Default 2.36 vs 2.5 on a 2.0 motor

I currently have a RS*R ex mag on my 1990 teg. Im also building a 2.0l vtec motor with 11.5:1 compression. How much of an improvement would I notice with a 2.5 over the 2.36? Would it be worth while to buy piping/resonator/muffler and have it welded up or should I just keep the RS*R and leave it at that?

The RS*R is pretty loud with a high flow cat as it has a pretty small resonator before the muffler. I'm thinking if I fab up a 2.5", I can get a huge resonator to quite it up a little bit.

Any input? Thanks.

you think the RSR exmag is loud??

are you sure you don't have the other (newer) RSR w/ the fart can?

My RSR (original) is really quiet

I have the exmag which isnt the fartcan one. With my header and high flow cat, it gets kinda loud at times.
