Mounting "S2000 Style" Antenna in the trunk or on rear deck

The motor for my stock antenna broke and the cable part of the antenna mast was ripped apart by the motor when I pulled it up and down.
I picked this "S2000 style" antenna and when I got it, it didn't look at all like the one on an S2000. I mounted it on anyway and it looked really bad. It was leaning out to the right and it's not really adjustable.
My question is: Will I be able to get good reception if I mounted the antenna inside the trunk or on the rear deck where the speakers are? If I can mount it in these places I can fill in that hole and make my car look better because the way this antenna leans is just horrible.
Thanks for comments and ideas.

My imitation works great but I wonder how good it will be inside the car...

i wish i could remember the name.....but there is a company out there that makes interior antennaes / the kind that stick to the inside of your rear window
i honestly can't think of the name but there are some really good ones out there....unless you still want to keep the outside antennae

Do you have a link or anything for this? My friend told me that the new Hondas out have rear window antennas.

You can buy it here, but Froogle showed a couple cheaper results.

Whats better, the model shown or the 44ua20, where its a "hide away" amplified one? It seems nice to be able to hide the antenna completely

well, that is a picture of the 44UA20.
you can hide it somewhere, but the reception will be hampered with the more sheet metal that blocks it. so if you're gonna hide it, try hiding it in plain sight.

you might get somesort of interference liek with the speakers or if u have an amp of somesort but that is just a guess i could be wrong
i just disabled my stock intenna motor, cause i hate it when its extended and so big. it looks good with just the intenna chillen and not extended all the way and i still get reception
