Just a quick question or two reguarding timink mark on the crank pulley.
Just got a quick question reguarding it. I did do a search, went through about 4+ pages of timing related posts and did'nt find the info I was looking for
Also keep in mind I really have never messed with timing or the belt
JDM B16A, bone stock.
Ok well, I went ahead and set it at TDC on #1. The cam gears arrows are both up, and the lines on the two teeth on both cam gears are lining up perfect. The timing mark on the crank pulley (As I call it, correct me if I'm wrong
) and the timing mark on the lower timing cover is off, I would say about 1/16th - 3/32 of a inch.
Now I was just wondering if that is normal/ok. Like I said I never messed with timing much, and I've just recently been doing up a bunch of reading in the vtec supp. manual I obtained, and a bunch of online resources.
I'm assuming it is normal?
Also how do these compression numbers look. From cyl # 1-4 in order: 230, 220, 220, 225.
Thanks in advance any information or help is appreciated. Also any resources anyone may have they can direct me to will always help, I want to try to learn as much as possible

Yeah 1/16th or less is not a big deal. If thats accurate, its probably equal to half a degree or les. When your timing is off it will show up with low compression numbers.
