Ok, so the my idle problem continues. Me and a friend of mine did some troubleshooting the other day. We ruled out the TPS sensor, TB, and the vacuum lines. It looks like THIS... may be the problem:



Anybody know what thats called? And where i may be able to find one?

Looks like the MAP sensor.

 

Thanks Dave. Is that entire thing the MAP sensor? Is that cylindrical piece (F in the picture) a different part?

Ok thanks guys. So im ebay right now looking around. Are map sensors OBD specific?? I see a couple from 92-95 civics and theres one off a JDM motor. Are they all compatible or must i get one from a OBD0 motor??

F is a purge valve...for smog stuff..circulating fumes here are and there.

the sensor with the three wires that goes to it is your map sensor..

On OBD1 cars its mounted on the TB..

you could get a obd1 senson and make it work, if you considering turbo in the future i would geta motoralo 2.5 bar or gm 3 bar now. (if you ecu supports different map sensors)
