Have any of you heard of this company down there or dealt with this guy?
He or should i say they are selling a butt load of Type R goodies " Motors parts and turbo kits" and i have never heard of them.

Anyway those guys are close and I'm sure would be more than happy to go scope them out. I do know though that a lot of R's have been stolen down there in recent months.

Thats what i was wondering about..
Some stuff is just not right about them.
They will not take a cc over the phone.
their pay pal will not except any more $
and they are asking people to mail them money orders for parts..
Sounds spooky..

 

Hopefully one of these SFL guys can take a ride down there in a car other than their own and get some VIN's. Speaking of VIN's did you ask them if they had the VIN's from the engines? I'd be curious to what they would say. Hell I may call them at lunch in a few and find out what they have to say.

I asked for a pic of the vin and all i got was a real bad pic that you can not make out.

 

I wouldn't be suprised if it was a chop shop Rene. I know Miami pretty well and 18495 South Dixie hwy is pretty ghetto. You never know though, it might be a legit shop, and I'm just assuming. Unfortunetely theres a million places like this around that are getting away with selling stolen car parts.

i think i am going to do this, forward the info down to Miami Police Dept and let them check it out There has been a lot of ITR thefts down here recently including my boy V-Attack so even if this shop is legit, i'd rather know they are then have some civic drive next to me wiith my friends motor and i never know

Where's typer_696 when you need him. I'm sure he would be happy to oblige (sp) He was working with a detective anyway.

I talked to the police officer to run his name in and he will call me up. I am going to go down there and check it out. Sorry I dont drink beer so I wont be able to take you up on that offer.

So how do you know this? He is running a bunch of e bay adds from what i have seen.

Yeah I believe they watch over the forum too. However if they ever did see my plates if I didn't block them out with pictures I post, they are going to have a very hard time moving the 15,000 pound dually which goes behind the R everyday lol I've been a member for a while and haven't posted pics for that reason, I just recently made a picture post
