Default How much should I honestly pay?

I was wondering, with all blue book values aside and all that nonsense. How much do you guys think I should really pay, as in a fair price for both people, for a 2004 S2K with 30000 miles on it. The paint is in immaculate condition.

$22,000-$24,000...if the car is MINT with 30k.

so if the car is slightly under mint would it be rediculous to offer 21k?

$21,000 is rather low for an AP2...just my view of it. What is wrong with the car?

a silverstone here recently went for 24k, but it was pretty clean still, had 14k miles.

Low 20's. For a car with 30k miles, I'd go no higher than $23k, if it's in MINT condition.

im not speaking about any particular car b.c i have been looking at several of them. but slightly under mint would be defined as slightly less than perfect paint like minor scratches and scuffs. I want to be able to get one b/w 22-23k for an ap2. I dont really want to pay more than 21k for an ap1. You think that this is realistic? Is it possible to completely convery an ap1 to an ap2 or are the frames different. I dont really know much about S2k's other than i drove one at the dealship and i am in love with it now.

What do you mean convert an AP1 to an AP2? Cosmetically? its quite easy (from what ive read) to change the bumper and headlights, etc etc etc. Motor wise, im guessing its just a drop in affair...but theres alot of difference in the AP2...suspension for starters, interior...bunch of other stuff, and if you're looking to spend $20,000-$21,000 on an AP1 (potentially)...might as well just spend the extra few thousand for the AP2 if that is essentially what you want anyways.

I think you will easily find an AP2 for $23,000-$24,000...ive seen several. Mileage will be a little higher on those, but they are out there.
