Default Took off filter cover, got revved by a hyundai, got a speeding ticket and challenged by a supra

Well, what an interesting night, perhaps this belongs in the kills forum, but there wasn't really any drag/street racing in it.

My itr is bone stock, we decided to take off the air filter cover tonight. It was AWESOME! It was like the first day we heard VTEC, all over again. My question is, i would like to mod the car that would give me this kind of noise (more if possible), but without taking off my air filter cover. EVERYONE seems to be getting AEM CAI, i'm not the car specialist, but i would like to have abit more fun (loudness) out of the car, and i don't really care about extra power at all. I'm not that much of a speed freak, and i'm concerned about warranty/insurance/health of the car. So should i just leave it stock anyway? Any suggestions?

Secondly, tonight i got revved by a stupid hyundai excel, filled with people, on a saturday night. I revved back at them (with air filter cover off) and they yelled something back before pissing off... i hate hyundais

Oh, i also got my first speeding ticket, i was only doing 59km/hr in a 40 zone. Thats like 40mph in a 30 zone in miles. It completely demoralised the entire night. I wasn't the only one speeding, but a bright yellow integra type r with 4 young guys in it, on a saturday night, didn't exactly look good.

Right after receiving my ticket, on the way home we came across a Supra, nice body kit and all, i was right behind it and it slowed right down in front of me, almost stopping, flashed it's hazard lights and gunned it like crazy, normally i'd go "HELL YEAH!" but they picked me at the wrong time(depressed from my first speeding ticket). They stopped at the lights, waiting for me to line up next to them but i took a left turn.. as we went by we saw the drivers... TWO INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL BLONDE GIRLS... IN A F!@KING NICE SUPRA!!!!!!!!......... (late teens early 20's) well, that was icing on the cake, to a night that was both great, and terrible at the same time..

Looking forward to next weekend.

Lol excels huh... dont we all just hate them.....
even more when they think its **** !!!
and yeh... there is so many spuras on sydney's road now...
just get a K&N filter connet it up with the stock rubber piping. its pretty much DIY.
and AEM CAI wont damage any warranty/insurance or the health of the car ~

Hey man, i'm actually from Newcastle. There are practically no Supra's around here at all, i've only ever seen 3 or so ITR's, and 1 new DC5. One or two s2000's, and afew Surpas, let alone one with chicks driving them All we get are old celicas and excels riced up.

WRX's are plentiful though, both new and old models, it's great having an R in newcastle because theres nothing around to challenge you! haha...besides wrx's. Well, i'll have to take a trip to sydney anyhow, i'm going soon to do a defensive driving course at finlays, plus getting an air intake mod, and maybe a new set of pedals.

Thanks for your help.

Nice story but, don't worry about your ticket. If this is the first one, you still can go to driving school and they won't asses the points to your license and no problem with insurance. But try not to have a ticket during a year from the date of that one, then you're in trouble

If you want that sound, get an AEM. It will do your car good.

Dude, it's funny you mention blondes in a Supra, I was washing my Teg when a blonde pulls up in a black Mitsubishi FTO, saw it twice infact yesterday, hell, I might chase next time.
