Si tranny on a Hf motor will it work

Default Si tranny on a Hf motor will it work

is it possible? I have the matching flywheel and clutch but I was wondering if hf axles will fit in the Si tranny also to make it work what else would I need any help would be great

yes it will work. make sure you buy a clutch for the same year as the tranny, so that the splines and flywheel surface are the same

the HF axles will work also

ya make sure its the clutch disc for the si tranny, u can use any D pressure plate.

hf axles are smaller spline than si in order to do this you will have to swap out the hubs for a 5 speed dx hubs or si hubs crx hf and std hatch have smaller spline hubs

the ONLY difference is the outer splines...aka: the hubs. the inner splines are the SAME. therefore, you CAN use the HF axles, they will spline correctly with the tranny and the hubs. the only problem with them is that they are tiny, but since he is using the HF motor, he wont have a problem

thanks thought they were smaller in and out

wouldnt be a bad upgrade then since he is down there if money permits then he wouldnt have to do so down the road if he went with b-series etc.

I believe that any d series engine and transmission are interchangeable.3rx
