Just got my car back from B16a conversion. Seems to run OK when cold (slight miss) but when warm won't run properly at all. Whole car shudders (too bad to be electrical) pulled the plugs nothing on them.

Fuel flow OK (500ml in 10 seconds) Fuel pressure OK (40 psi).

My car (1985 civic) was carby prior to conversion but fuel system looks OK.

Is there something the shop may have missed/forgotten during the conversion?

Also VTEC doesn't work due to no speed signal but I'll worry about that after I solve this one.

Need help as, at this stage, the car is undrivable.

HELP PLEASE.

 

check all the sensors on the side of the head to see if they are plugged in they are mainly coolent sensors(ect temp gadge and so on) anyways sounds like a cooling system probem. check the injectors and resistor box also.

My drivetrain and computer are out of a 91 integra. Is there a means of self testing or getting codes out of the computer re: diagnosis? I don't have a check light but is there a terminal that gets a code output?

I checked all the terminals and eeverything seems OK. I think the computer is getting the signal that the motor is warm and then reverting to normel running instead of cold start and this is were the problems begin/get worse.

Anyone?????????????
