I have some pictures that are not my car, I'll put them up on my server a little later. Check back in a few hours.

Personally, I would buy some of those 6x9 boxes they sell at Walmart, and put something like velcro on them, as I wouldn't want to mess up a fairly hard to find part.
Another option would be to make yourself a fiberglass cargo cover, and hack that up. The choice is yours though, good luck, and keep us updated on what you decide to do.

Whatever you do, put the quick release cables on the speakers. I know someone that has the speakers soldiered (spelling) to the cables and he has to totally take the speakers out to take the cover out of the hatch.

Well, I don't know how to shape fiberglass, so that's right out.
I got the cargo cover to put speakers in it.. I have a pair of RF 6.5"s from my old car that I'd like to put in there. I plan to take some time to do it properly.

I always quick release my speaker wiring.

No, he's talking about you trading him your UNCUT cargo cover for his one that is already cut.
And i agree with what was said. There is no reason to cut up the cargo cover and you're going to regret it in a few years when you go and try to find one. I've heard it way to many times.

i didn't make use of the rear cover when mounting the rear speakers actually.

while i was tuning/level matching those 3 amps using a Fluke Digital Scopemeter.

matching power delivery for the subs' left and right channels, no Clippings at 50Hz:

Anyone ever try to make their own cargo cover? I've given up trying to find a cargo cover in the junkyard. Thinking about home depot plywood, and some oem looking carpet/cover.
