SE-R guys talking about the ITR
I'm buying a 91 Nissan SE-R for a auto-x /track car, and while searching a se-r forum, I came across this. Pretty cool.

the guys on that board seem pretty kool.....atleast they arent knocking the R, just respecting it.....not like its the god of cars but the R is a great car....i love mine....and the guys on that board get
Yeah, well, the Type-R is okay I guess....
I mean, not good enough for the likes of Vegetta (Mr. M3 son of a...but I'm ranting, excuse me)....but I love the car. I feel it's a great beginners sports car if not a good intermediate one. It's not so powerful that you become over confident of your owns skills (i.e. Z06 owners, first time at the track and they think they are the **** in terms of driving ability because they blew by you).

Umm... excuse me, you have an ITR. Your ITR would be a terrific choice to be used as your auto-x/track car. The SE-R would make a nice daily driver.
SER guys sound like cool people to hang out with... very mature and positive

One thing the Type R crowd and the SE-R crowd have in common is a high ratio of SCCA guys and a low ratio of ricers.
..yeah they do seem like good mature car owners...
haha
Here's the best quote (hope they don't mind). Anyone contemplating even TOUCHING the suspension should consider what is said below:

That's funny...
I just spent another weekend instructing in 2 more Type Rs. Not only are they absolutely brilliant from the factory, I've determined that many owners attempting to improve their R only hurt it. My intermediate students stock R felt better balanced to me than my novice students R with coilovers. I got to drive both for a few laps in their 1st session to familiarlize them with the track. I liked the stock one better.

I have to disagree with this. Stock suspension is great, but falls short when you start to push the car's limits. I am pretty sure that if you decide to go with either of the Mugen kits, the car will handle/corner even better.
