<FONT COLOR="royalblue"> I just picked up some eagle rods w/ the arp rods bolts, but they didn't come w/ the torque spec sheet.. I tried going to arp, but my shitty 56k is killing me. </FONT>

 

what bolts did they come with? more than likely 5/16" ARP 2000-3/8" bolt head?
you should invest in a Rod bolt stretch gauge, much more accurate than a torque wrench for Arp rod bolts..

 

I suggest you measure the rod bolt stretch and set them to ARP specifications. Call up ARP and they will give you the exact specification.

I have a stretch guage that I could set your stretch for you with but I am too far away. Your best bet is to either torque them to factory +2 ft-lb or send it off to the machine shop and have them measure it to proper stretch.

Do not torque to factory specs!!!!! most all eagle rods untill recently use 5/16 bolts (close to 8mm). factory b16 and b18c rods have 9mm bolts. if you torque to factory 33lbs you will over stretch the bolts possibly causing breakage. call eagle 662-796-7373, they will need to know the socket size of the head and the markings on the head(eagle8740 or eagleS2000 i think).
