stock speakers are a joke. Does any car company have a trim model available that has decent stock speakers? maybe a Bose system or something that isnt made out of paper?

EDIT:
how come it wont paste the image directly in this window?

I thought that modern cars often come with "premium" sound systems, including good speakers. Of course, you're paying way too much for the system.

Just my opinion, but I would just go with aftermarket speakers.

i don't know much about which brand is better, i'd go into sound/audio forum for that

i have blaupunktd in my doors the rest of my car is stock, other than my 12 '' sub and 1200 watt amp. Sony brand too..? which after a while isn't as powerful. so i wouldn't suggest Sony if you were going with some boom boom.

Bose and Infinity setups found in stock setups often use paper cones, so you can't judge the sound quality by that. Furthermore, any factory designed system from Bose or Infinity and possibly Boston Acoustics is custom tuned for the car's acoustics using speaker placement, EQ tuning, and power testing. Basically someone going out to the best buy and slappin infinity speakers in your ride, doesn't even compare to the hundreds of hours of R&D that these companies put into each car to get the sound quality they produce. Again, with paper-cone speakers...
