Default What proportining Valve?

hi I am swapping my brakes on my Eg CX hatch to GSR. The brakes have ABS just curious if the porpotioning valve for the GSR or CX would work? I have heard of the suggesting of using the Non-ABS integra RS porportionong valve but since I have the others would like to see if anybody has used those succesfully.

I'm not 100% sure, but I can't see why using the gsr prop valve would cause any harm. Bump for more help. BTW, nice avatar.

SEARCH!!!

if you want to use the proper valve, get the 4040. I run one in my setup on my eg cx, however after I finished my install I found out that it is not necessary and my stock 3030 would have done me fine. as far as the ABS goes, I believe if you leave the sensor wires unhooked the brakes will function as regular, non-abs brakes. I used an EF m/c so I didn't have to swap boosters, and a DA 4040 prop valve. I had to trim the bracket some, but I didn't have to rebend or reflare ANY lines.

Yes.. There was a big long thread about why you dont need to change your prop valve even if you do a brake swap. Turns out the prop valve really only affects drum brakes (in a way). I'd link the post but I cant find it.

hi well I have done searchs about it, just curious about the braking of it, if its weak or how technically does it effect the car. I just feel there hasn't been a post that answered specifically that question. Whats the pedal feel? how does it brake int he corners? noticalbe differences
