PLEASE HELP: 96-00 Civic Reverse lights

hey ive done a swap in my 1998 civic and now the reverse lights wont come on when i put it in reverse... ive checked fuses and the bulbs.. what could be the problem?

an ls in there... does it really matter? both are obd2 and i just need to know a little bit more if it is something else.

Was your swap a automatic to manual transmission?
