Here are some pics of my ITR getting its temp B16 motor out. Now my question is, IS this the safest way or what to get your motor out of your car. :D
Here is the guttless (Sorry Gill and Will ) B16 temp motor that I threw in to just get the ITR moving about for about a month.
Look at that ghey bottom end... so weak :wackit:
Soooo who wants to go under there and check out the undercarriage ??
Is it safe.....hell no... does it work....yeah.

Till next time......

I did the same thing
cept that i didn't get the car that high!
it looks scary sitting on those steel wheels, find something more stable so that it doesn't slip off

wow, pretty unsafe if you ask me. i would have at least tried to buy truck jackstands to get the height needed. how did you even get the car that high?
never understood while people pull motors from the bottom. must not have the skillz haha just playing. that chit looks scary though. but i have seen worse
Thats how i pulled the motor out my hatch but mines wasn't that high and i places the jacks on the ground. IMO that is very dangerous the way you have the jacks sitting on steeles.

yeah cuz they dont have acces to a engine hoist or a lift like most of the people on here do. and if you got skills you do it that way.

Your method is probably the easiest (not necessarily the safest) and avoids causing any damage to the firewall or radiator of the vehicle when using the cherry picker method.
Use those jack stands on a flat steardy surface ...
