7th gen recall cooling line
I just changed my trans fluid for the first time. Where the Helm manual says to fill the trans, it has a small hose going through a hole in the fill plug. I was just wondering if this was the added cooling line per the recall, or just something that wasn't shown on the shop manual, but was always there before they did the cooling line. 03EXV6

you had it right. That's the second gear recall. That's a ATF pressure line designed to squirt fluid on the second gear to keep it well lubricated. The converse is a tooth breaking off and seizing the transmission.
