K well im trying to make my car B.A.R. legal. so im trying to take out my vtec controler etc. well i took off the controler and its like gargleing at me, not having a steady idle and acting crappy, took it for a spin and vtec didnt kick in no power feels like a straight 4 cyl non vtec, i stoped down hte street and pluged the vtec controler in and idled fine no choppy ness took it for a spin and u feel the power difference, ne one know how to fix this problem? ne-thing will help

The guy who installed it said he didnt chop ne wires he just used a connector which takes the signal from the current wire and it goes to the apexi ill try to find a pic of what the connectors look like, its semi like a snap on so no cutting is needed just plug and play practly

 

did you reconnect the wires together?
