Which one is it? White or blue. White means coolant is getting into your oil possibly meaning a blown or soon to be blown head gasket and blue means oil is burning up within combustion. First check if your losing motor oil or coolant or both.

You may also get some backfiring if the butterfly is closed but the computer is firing the injectors as if it's 10% open. Smell like fuel?
Yeah that would cause a TPS code.

What would the smell of gas mean? I have with smoke and smell gas.

you can get a metal headgasket for $30. Are the Mr. Gasket headgaskets like the best b/c they are like 60? What brands are the bad brands for headgaskets? Thanks

Go to any auto parts store. We just replaced the head gasket on my friends 91 Accord. It was a nifty looking gasket and like 30 bucks. Also when your car is still hot look under the oil filler cap, if there is a white milky substance that is for sure head gasket problems... Could also be that something is cracked, but we won't worry about that.
