Does the 99-00 Si have a different dark grey, or different door sills then the 99-00 hatches..






explain the two tones of dark grey....

i think the si has different color interior pieces

 

I don't think there is a difference. But I am not sure. Bump for help.

thanks I have been looking at a lot of pictures.. and it looks to me like the rear quarter panels, rear deck, door sills, kick panel, doors, center console, underpanel dash, "maybe glovebox" are a darker "dark grey" lol.....

 

possible sun fading?

 

it's not sun fading that's for sure, I have many pictures and it looks to me like the upper dash is "orginal dark grey" and the rest of the panels are darker.... even my girlfriend noticed she told me they look almost black...

 

there are two tones i had a 97 ek hatch that was silver with grey interior and a lady ate a stop sign and smashed into it. Then i bought a midori green 97 hatch and it had grey interior. I was gonna swap some intrior pieces form one to the other and when i had them side by side the sliver ek interior was a lighter shade of grey and you can tell the diffrence when you look at them.

 

hope that helps you a bit and sunfading was not an issue on either car.

 

well there was two colors for ek's a light grey... and a dark grey, my current car has a light grey.... and also there was tan..

 

My 00 SI has an interior color code of k and looks dark gray if that matters.

 

every si has type k lol
