Injector testing?
So I was reading on about some ecu codes and thought it would be a good choice for routine checks and see what was going on. So it blinked the 1 and the 16. That would be O2 sensor and the fuel injectors. I had an idea the O2 sensor was bad. My car grumbled in the morning sometimes and sounded like it wanted to die so the fuel injector code makes plenty of sense. Now that I have done this, what is the best way to test a fuel injector? I know that there is a problem but I don't know which one. So if anyone knows a simple way to check injectors it would be nice to know. Thanks.
Maybe it is a good idea to check ECUs more often...

to see if an injector is working, you can put the tip of a screwdriver on the injector, and put your ear to the handle. you should hear a clicking noise if the injector is spraying. as far as testing the pressure, i've seen locally a place that test and rebiulds them.
Tip of a screwdriver on what part of the injector? And I supposed I do this when the car is off. So my car is an 89 DX hatch, so I have the throttle body injection... Does this make any difference in the simplicity of the injectors? Since they are pretty easy to get to. Does anybody know of a way to check the mist of the injectors? Cause I am not sure which the ECU is referring to? A injector not working, or an injector clogged or squirting badly? Thanks.
do it while the car is running. getting a long screwdriver makes it easier lol, unless you dont mind kissing the valve cover haha. place the screw driver somewhere near the pig tail but make sure its on the injector body itself.
to test if your injector is ok you need to get a volt/ohm meter and pull the clip off of the injector and set the meter to ohms 10Ohm and it should be 3 or so
