i have a d15b7 in my 90 si hb i removed the resistor box and i wired up the 4red wires with the 1 yellow/blk wire, the car still wont start up, did i do something wrong? i eliminated the plug for the resistor box i cut b4 the green plug on the harness is that ok? or am i suppsoe to leave it connected and cut after the green plug? also i didnt sodder i just spliced and connected them together and black taped the connection. ive searched and found alot of good info i just hate wiring!


i went to rywire but i couldnt find the write up so im kinda lost in the dark.


funny thing is i drove my car with resistor box and obd1 injectors for awhile i hope i didnt damage the ecu or injectors the only prob i had was when the car sat for a few hours it wouldnt want to start it would just crank and cough and eventually turnover

im getting gas to the injectors btw i checked

 

cmon ppl someones gotta know wats going on did i do it right or wat?

 

well i ghetto rigged mine. i just cut mine between the resistor box and plug and i have no problems.

 

i think i fried my injectors, i was running obd1 injectors w/resistor box for a good 3wks!!! i dam...

you think my ecu is also fried or just injectors? car was running yesterday sunday but the car wasnt 100 perscent it had a lil misfire after running for 5min a lil stutter when i gas itand was idleing rough

 

well im no expert but i heard when you do what you did it fries the ecu but i could be wrong.

 

ne1 else know wat can happen

 

I would try new obd1 injectors, just go pull some from a junk yard and give them a good cleanin'.

 

or borrow a working ecu from a buddy or your local pastor
