stock b20 1/4 times
ok so i finally dropped my b20 motor in my 95 coupe (took me long enough). shes runnin decently. its fully tuned up new timing belt, type r oil pump....etc. the works. gsr trans. clutch masters clutch cover with a stage 4 competition clutch disc. short shifter. aem intake apexi n1 exhaust. what kind of 1/4 mile times am i looking at? does anyone have a similar setup. o! and im running an obd1 ls computer.
What type of head do you have on the B20? Is the B20 head? I personally love these engines because of the amount of torque they produce (or feels like the produce) in our little civics. I just wish they had more top end power, you could get this with a GSR head.
the motor is basically stock. no internal work. yeah its got crazy torque. i have hasport motor mounts on this sucker so when i let go of the clutch and launch this thing u can really feel it. i want to go b20vtec but later.

yeah after dropping the cash to initially drop the engine it usually takes some time before you can drop more money on internal or head work. Drive it around for a while, get a feel for it. brake in those motor mounts. Then spend the money to get a GSR head. Then you'll be crapping your pants in no time

yea man i cant wait till this thing is broken in fully. hopefully soon ill have that head on. i really want 2 know what time this motor makes the way i have it.
i would have to say that it is a good investment to get a vtec head and put it on that b20. i have a cr-vtec setup in my 93 coupe and i love it wouldnt have it any other way. HAHA bump for a fellow b20

b20z has like 147 HP, but they are hard to come by, they have more compression, which one do u have? b20b or b20z? i know b20b has like 126 or something like, i was very close to getting a b20, how do u like it?
i have b20b cuz i was considering boost and i knew that the b20b had a lower compression....as far as performance i love this motor. its great. the torque is amazing, right off the bat power.
