Default Expo 6 - Mid way meet (for those driving from the south)

Ok since alot of us will be coming from down south (FL, TX, GA, etc...), why not have a mid way meet? Some where we can all meet up on say Saturday or Sunday since the event isn't till Monday. Pick a good mid point city and lets get it done!

I got some maps coming to show the TX, FL/ATL (same path basically) and NC crew what the drive would look like. Give me a little bit to get them up before voting unless you look into it yourself

If you're going to meet somewhere in the midwest like St.Louis, the correct phrase is "git 'er dun."

If I bring the car I'll be slowing up the caravan. Truck + car in tow = teh slowness. If not though I'll either ride with one of joo (well not cramped in the M) or just fly up.

If you meet in St Louis we might be able to work something out with a southwest caravan, I'll be rolling through there and probably dragging the AZ looseboys with.

Ok guys, the following maps aren't too pretty nor do I care since I just threw them together here at work, but they show the path from Flower Mound, TX (Dallas/Ft Worth area), Tampa, FL and Charlotte, NC.

Not a big deal. We've trailered cars in our caravan's before, the FL/NC crew don't drive that crazy.
Either way you have to make it. FL -> whereever -> South Haven -> Toledo/Sandusky/Cedar Point -> FL

I voted St Louis. I will more than likely be there at the National Prelude meet track day. Heck, if need be, you all can stay at the hotel I have Saturday night and we can take off early early Sunday morning.

oh and for what it's worth, Louisville looks like the best imo, decent for TX and FL and best for NC, no point in adding 100 miles to NC for the non-existent difference for TX and FL.

yeah I didn't want to have 30 maps overlaid tho

I think Nash/Louisville is the most central location on the way.

STL is kind of out of the way if you're going to Gman from the south. However, that weekend is the National Prelude Meet in STL, so you could stop by and say hi to Mark Stewart and co.

Lousiville seems like a good location to me, Nashville is even easier. Either way I am there with two other ITR's.
