i got a main relay off a del sol. i was told it would work in my crx. i just need to switch the wires over exactly color coded. the problem is how the hell do you pop those wires out. someone help me or helms me or something, and does anyone have a diagram, that would be great. please dont tell me i need one of those ecu pin pusher thingies.

I dunno anything about that but why did you get that main relay? Why not one off of another CRX? Is it in anyway better (which I can't imagine) or was it just available at a cheap price? I need one on my EF so I was just curious. I don't wanna pay that much for a new one, but local wrecking yards can get them to me for cheap.

 

i was talkin with a guy on this website and he told me he did it and it works. also the eg main relays are better than the ef, thats why ours are always going bad, i heard they used different solder or something,

someone please tell me how the hell to get theses pins out, i dont wanna break the harnesses(plural?). thank you

i've never heard of the rewiring but a buddy of mine popped open his old and resoldered the connections. no problem since.

I paid 30$ for a brand new one (the new style). No issues. I also resoldered my old one back and used it in my friends CRX and it works mint.
