I have a cable transmission taken out of my 90 LS w/ roughly 75-80k on it. It's wrapped completely in heavy duty plastic. It's been sitting on the floor of my garage for about a year now. Will there be any problems if I were to reattach it to another b18? (Will do flush/clean/usual maintenance.) My only concern is that it's been sitting idle for quite some time.

 

shouldn't be if its all wrapped up, mine sat for over a year and i works fine just be sure to change the fluid.

 

when you put it back on, make sure change the fluid and go into all the gears, their going to be hard, if their stuck warm up the car that should help out.

nice try, but id say its going to be fine...blah blah blah change the fluid blah blah blah..

should be fine, just but new fluid in and change it in about 3k miles...just to be on the safe side
