I use copper, Coppers are great, the only down side is they don't last long at all.

The weather has no bearing on what material spark plug to use.

OEM is copper, which conducts better, but they need to be changed at the recommended service intervals.

Platinum is a more durable material, and is used in the 'maintenance free' vehicles, and are normaly changed at 100K miles.

Cause they are so cheap every 2nd oil change for me, ~10 000km

As soon as I change them I get better gas milage, the plugs almost pay for themselves in one fill up when you are paying $1/L but maybe that's just my car.

But I have no experiance with platimum. I once put them on a 4cyl VW and it just didn't like them one bit, had to go back to copper. I have heard hearsay that 4cyl engines like copper the best. But as for cold weather, like "lowRIDAH" said, they will all start the same. After all, it's a honda.
