does anyone know how to check the check engine light on a obd1 p28. i heard there is a cheap trick to making it flash for you. anyone know what it is?

Turn you car on the ON position without starting it, it should light for a few seconds.

 

Yea follow the pics of the T-I site, but follow the codes off the H-T site, some of those codes on team-integra are wrong...
Once you jump that plug, turn your key to the ON position, you CEL will flash and give you the code, but dont worry about getting it the first time, it will repeat the series of flashes over and over.

 

long flash = 10
short flash = 1

so..one long flash+5 short flashes= code 15.

then go here and see what CEL your throwing
