Well, my advice would be to count the number of flashes. That's what the hell it's supposed to do. Does it run okay?

Is it a series of long blinks? IIRC, code 1 is the O2 sensor.

If it's really giving you a proper code, each long flash counts for 10's and each short flash accounts for a 1.

So say i had, 3 long flashes, and 4 short ones, that would be a 34.

just to add on be a little more specific with the increments for long and short...

SHORT flashes are single digits (1/2 second)
LONG flashes are 10's (1 second)

hope this helps

That's a long time to count flashes, I'd have given up after 10.

Try a differen't ecu if you have one laying around. You might have a bad ecu or missed something.
